Lynda Hanshaw Photography & Videography wins the 2007 ICON AWARD for BEST PHOTOGRAPHY

February 28, 2007 – Knoxville, TN -- International wedding and event photographer Lynda Hanshaw is the 2007 recipient of the prestigious ICON Award for Best Photography. After reviewing the many submittals from the best wedding and event photographers the judges selected two nominees. The winner was announced at the ICON Award Gala held on February 22, 2007 in Denver, Colorado. The award was given for the event titled Jenny & Tony’s Wedding.

Lynda shot her first wedding many years ago underwater in the Solomon Islands. Word of Lynda’s destination wedding photography quickly spread. Lynda and her cameras have now been to thirty-five international destinations. She’s shot weddings underwater, on skis, on mountain tops, on horseback on yachts, from helicopters and of course at many homes, resorts, and religious centers. Lynda receives the highest recommendations not only from her brides but also from the leaders in the wedding and event planning industry.
