PRW has added The Associated Press' Photo Express Service to its suite of multimedia offerings. This addition gives PRW customers a world-class electronic photo distribution network reaching thousands of newspaper, wire service and trade publication editors, as well as the immeasurable reach of the Internet.

And all at a price that won't wreck your budget!

Your photo will be sent in real-time to the "digital darkrooms" of national dailies and other media across the country. Because of this, the added photo and/or graphic can highlight products, clarify research, even accelerate branding, all while generating greater attention to the news release.

Currently, PRW offers two photo service levels:

PHOTO RELEASE.......................................................................$350

Use our Photo Release service to distribute a photo or graphic along with your news release via the AP Photo Express system, in addition to PRW's distribution network which includes other media and trade publications. Service also includes posting on PRW's Web site, where it can be accessed.

Service breakdown:

• AP Photo Express - Photo/Graphics delivered electronically to hundreds of U.S. newspapers, wire services and other media through this unmatched distribution network.

  • AP Photo Express requires the photos to be at least 200 dpi resolution.

• Photo/Graphics - The photo/graphic is archived in PRW's database where a high-res version is available for download.

• URL in Wire Release - The URL of the archived photo is transmitted as part of the news release - making it available to millions of potential viewers on the Internet.

• Caption - Each photo or graphic may include a caption.

• Company Logo - A Web-ready or hi-res version of your company logo is archived in our database ready for media access.

Press Release Requirements:

• Should contain your Contact information, including phone and email.
• "Copy and Paste" in ascii text format (no HTML formatting).
• PRW does not accept press releases that are adult or pornographic in nature.
• Press releases received during normal business hours (9AM-5PM EST Mon-Fri) will generally go out within 2-3 hours. Orders received after hours will go out the following business day.
