For example, Billy Jean Ring's red tennis skirt shows the wear and tear scars of that game against Bobby Pitball in Houston, like candy sticks to a sweets collector. Also, the last lace panties worn by Evonne Boolabong are offered with a photo of the players and are signed by Evonne and reserved at $1,500.
Another piece offered, Jimmy Canner Official Family Scrapbook, will make you laugh and make you cry. Inscribed on the front in gold letters with "The Best of Jimmy from Mom." The scrapbook's spine says "Jimmy Canner from age two when he held his first Racquet." These 100 pages of the triumphant story of the champion who started in the game so young and persevered at the game he loved so much is one of the most complete compilations in tennis history. It holds the family's personal photo collection as well as the rare Junior Orange Bowl pin and ribbon and the scores of his winning games. A touching note in the scrapbook is a letter he sent to his dad a week after Jimmy fractured his wrist. From his hospital bed, Jimmy wrote ''Dear Dad and All, just a note to let you know I am still very much alive on the tennis circuit…" Jimmy Canner won his next 22 matches and subsequently retired after losing his finals match at the U.S. Open at the age of 39.
